American comedy gem Mel Brooks has been making the rounds lately, recapping a career that has spanned more than six decades and given him the elusive EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony). Brooks' latest venture is at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills. The night will be dedicated to the premiere of American Masters Mel Brooks: Make A Noise, a documentary that chronicles his time in the industry. Clips of Your Show of Shows will mix with outtakes from Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs, all while friends and those close to him wax poetic about the comedy genius. Following the screening, Brooks and director Robery Trachtenberg will be on hand to answer questions and further discuss the sharp-minded Brooks.
