The Orange County Museum of Art has re-envisioned their former California Biennial as a survey of West Coast art and artists that also explores a cross-section of countries from throughout the Pacific rim.
From the OCMA website:
California's geographical position on the Pacific Ocean has enriched its cultural prominence. The demographics of the state are strongly linked to the diverse countries throughout the Pacific rim, which are increasingly producing some of the most innovative art today. Despite the phenomenal economic and cultural growth of Asian and Latin American countries that border the Pacific, and California's proximity to these developments, there is no ongoing exhibition on the West Coast that regularly explores this activity.
Through Nov. 17. Check the link above for more information.
