As part of their Visionary Development speaker series, in conjunction with the A. Quincy Jones exhibit, the Hammer presents a discussion on public and private real estate development in Southern California with Nicholas Olsberg.
From the Hammer website:
America's many variations on the idea of the garden city and suburb include Frank Lloyd Wright's Broadacre City, Cloverleaf, and cooperative Usonias. Regionally, we look at Robert Alexander's Baldwin Hills Village, Jones's work at Crestwood Hills, Whitney Smith's Blue Ribbon Tract, Gregory Ain and Garrett Eckbo's Park Planned Community, and John Lautner's unbuilt Alto Capistrano.
