The nation's largest (and second longest-running) anime expo takes over the Los Angeles Convention center, beginning on Thursday, July 4th and running through the weekend. The multi-day affair will convert anime and manga newcomers and deepen the love for hardcore fans alike, thanks to a series of panels, exhibits, concerts, contests, late night video programming, gaming sessions, karaoke and more. It's a 24-hour event, which means there will be plenty of time for people to explore the space, engage each other on the finer points of anime culture, and have a seriously great time doing it all.
