Stout, the slowly expanding burger and beer chain with an outpost in Studio City, is hosting a beer event just for the serious hop-heads. The $60 event is being split into two sessions so as not to overcrowd the venue and give real drinkers a chance to enjoy the selection of rare and one-off beers. Each brewery (including Drake's from Oakland, Allagash from Maine, Dogfish Head from Delaware, Grand Teton from Idaho, Jolly Pumpkin from Michigan and more) will be pouring two different beers, and they must all be either barrel-aged, sours or one-offs made specifically for the event. This truly is a beer fest for the beer geeks.
