La Plaza de Cultura y Artes presents an exhibit of labor leader César Chávez and the activism of late '60s California as seen through the eyes of freelance photographer George Rodriguez.
From La Plaza de Cultura's website:
As a young freelance photographer, George Rodríguez went to Delano, California to document the activism of César Chávez and the farm labor movement. S¡ Se Puede! includes an intimate selection of these images documenting a pivotal time for agricultural workers, for Mexican Americans, and for others whose rights were routinely violated in the workplace.
