Urban wildlife expert Dr. Seth Riley will discuss the state of carnivores in the Santa Monica Mountains, exploring how such animals are impacted by urbanization and habitat fragmentation.

Riley, a wildlife ecologist for the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, has studied the local mountain lions, bobcats, and coyotes for more than a decade. His lecture will feature National Park Service research, photographs, and anecdotes. After the program, Riley will be available to sign copies of his book, "Urban Carnivores: Ecology, Conflict & Conservation."
