Started by a group of beer enthusiasts in 2009, L.A. Beer Week returns for 10 days -- yes, even more than the name promises -- of of beer-themed events.
The opening gala Sept. 22 at Union Station ($70 admission) will feature unlimited samplings from more than 50 breweries, a commemorative glass and small bites. Other events throughout the week include tastings, specialty releases, a beer crawl, a comedy performance, a 5K run, and more.
