Billed as the world's largest lobster festival and winner of the 2009 Guinness World Record for most seafood served at an outdoor event, this crustacean celebration offers a weekend of feasting, live entertainment, shopping and games.
Meals feature whole Maine lobsters flown in fresh daily, plus cole slaw, potatoes, bread, lemon wedges and a buttery dipping sauce.
The festival runs 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. For more information, go to the Lobster Festival website.
