The award-winning writer, filmmaker, poet and professor M.K. Asante joins the Library Foundation's Aloud series to discuss his new memoir, "Buck," which "scripts his rise from Philadelphia dealer and delinquent to the passionate and driven artist he is today."
Asante will be joined in conversation by Jeff Chang, author of "Can't Stop Won't Stop: A History of the Hip-Hop Generation." A hosted reception will follow in the library courtyard.
