The Santa Monica Museum of Art hosts a two-week residency with Craig Thornton, creator of the underground dining series Wolvesmouth, which he has operated out of his loft in downtown L.A. for the past four years.

Thornton's in-demand dinners showcase his unique, painterly aesthetic. He will join artist Matthew Bone in preparing a series of meals at the museum in a darkly wooded den designed by the duo. Throughout the residency, museum visitors can explore the installation and watch Thornton and company preparing the meals.
