The experimental opera company the Industry and the L.A. Dance Project present this unique adaptation of Italo Calvino's novel "Invisible Cities," which imagines a conversation between Marco Polo and Kublai Khan.
Directed by Yuval Sharon and adapted by Christopher Cerrone, the site-specific work will be experienced via wireless headphones and live performances that move throughout the station. Audience members will wander freely in search of the singers and dancers.
Performances will be held Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. (opening night) and Oct. 24, 26, 29, 31 and Nov. 5 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. For more information, go to the "Invisible Cities" website. And check out KCET's Arbtound coverage here.
