The No. 4 BCS-ranked Michigan State Spartans, champions of the Big Ten Conference, will square off against the No. 5 BCS-ranked Stanford Cardinal, champions of the Pac-12, for the historic 100th Rose Bowl Game.
The game will mark the sixth meeting all-time between the Spartans and Cardinal. Michigan State leads the series, 3-2. This is the first Rose Bowl Game matchup between these teams.
Tailgate acivities will begin at 8 a.m., with a variety of food and beverages available for purchase as well as interactive displays and entertainment attractions in Lot H, just south of the stadium. Pregame festivities beginning at 1:30 p.m. will include a performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and the official coin toss by this year's Rose Parade grand marshal, Vin Scully.
