Woody Allen is best known as the filmmaker behind such movies as "Annie Hall," "Manhattan" and "Midnight in Paris," but he's been a jazz clarinetist for more than 35 years.

The band's sound is rooted in the music Allen grew up with, from Sidney Bechet and George Lewis to Jimmie Noone and Louis Armstrong. Their repertoire includes more than 1,200 songs, and Allen and band director Eddy Davis call out the selections spontaneously.
