About the Show

During the 1999/2000 school year, six filmmakers followed 15 teens through their final year at Fairfax High in Los Angeles to create the series Senior Year for PBS. This unique documentary, created, directed and produced by David Zeiger, offers a glimpse into the thoughts and feelings of teenagers as they live through what is, for many, an entirely uncertain time. As these students consider their future while dealing with the present, they explore the emotions and challenges they face in their transition to the next phase of life.
