PROP. 64 - LIMITS ON PRIVATE ENFORCEMENT OF UNFAIR BUSINESS COMPETITION LAWS
Some of the propositions take a law degree to figure out. For example, Prop 64 deals with a certain kind of business lawsuit and asks voters to decide who will be allowed to file such lawsuits. Should a person or group have to suffer damage or injury before they can file a suit? David Okarski takes a closer look at Prop 64.

Both measures would make Indian tribes pay a fair share of casino profits to the state government. Toni Guinyard takes a closer look at Props 68 and 70. Should California share the profits from Indian casinos? And who decides what's fair in a fair share?

PROP. 71 - STEM CELL RESEARCH
Last year, President Bush announced strict limitations on using federal dollars for stem cell research, embryonic stem cell research in particular. But now Proposition 71 is calling for three billion dollars over ten years to fund just that kind of research in California. Proponents of Proposition 71 say it holds great promise for curing dozens of diseases, but critics say it's experimenting with human life. Kevin Smith looks at whether Proposition 71 is the right medicine for California.

PROP. 72 - HEALTH CARE COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS
The growing number of people and families without health insurance is at the heart of a lot of our health system problems. Proposition 72 would require certain companies to provide health insurance for their workers. As Toni Guinyard tells us it’s a much-needed benefit that would come at a cost.
