Guide: Downtown Art Walk, January 10, 2013

Downtown Art Walk Lounge

With CB1 Gallery between installations, Crewest and EVFA having closed their doors, the January 2013 Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk is a low-key introduction to a new year. That is not to say you will not be able to find solid art around downtown this month. Here are some of the highlights for Thursday, Jan. 10:

Art Walk Lounge brings working class concepts with Dee Craig, a Belfast artist "who uses bold hard lines to represent the strength and steadfastness that working class people ooze." Also in the lounge is Nick Begnaud, a artist who uses manipulations and media mash-ups shaped by a world view from being raised in the steel mill community of Youngstown, Ohio. Art Walk Lounge I 6-10 p.m.
