Mex/LA: Mexican Modernism(s) in Los Angeles, 1930-1985 explores a variety of media by artists, some whose presence and practice influenced household modern artists, and others who exemplify an understanding of Mexican, American, Chicano art and the art of Los Angeles in a broader context. According to MOLAA, the exhibit "intends to tell a history of L.A. or of Mexico that often has not been seen as neither and yet it is important and both."
