Free Lunch treats kcet.org commenter David Vernon to Cacao Mexicatessen in Eagle Rock. He orders an Azteca Mocha Latte followed by a signature taco made with duck confit, as well as the vegetarian chile rellenos al fresco.

Free Lunch treats Jameson Rollins, a researcher at Caltech's LIGO, to Cinnamon Vegetarian Restaurant in Highland Park. Jameson ordered the faux-chicken mole at Cinnamon, which specializes in Mexican food.
Free Lunch takes the hosts of The Dinner Party Download, Rico Gagliano and Brendan Francis Newnam, to Mo-Chica where they ordered mixed ceviche, oxtail risotto and lomo saltado.
Free Lunch had the pleasure of treating kcet.org commenter and 'taco expert' Libby Rego to Guisados which serves "traditional homestyle braises on fresh handmade tortillas."
People eat out with children all the time and after doing over a dozen Free Lunch episodes, it was about time we served up an episode for children. For this week's installment, KCET treated Liane Weintraub and Shannan Swanson, moms and co-founders of TastyBrand, to Hugo's Restaurant.

For this week's Free Lunch, we treated Felicia Friesema to Forage in Silver Lake. She ordered soy and Coca-Cola marinated flank steak, Gloria's Broccoli and summer succotash.
For this week's Free Lunch we're back in downtown Los Angeles, treating blogger Maya Meinert of shopeatsleep.com to The Lazy Ox Canteen in Little Tokyo.

KCET's Free Lunch was invited to attend Savor Los Angeles, Pairings! which showcased food from some known restaurants as well as up-and-coming food entrepreneurs. Our guest-critic for this event was Daryl Berg who enjoyed himself so much that he took over the shoot.
KCET had the pleasure of treating Gabrielle Pascoe to Spicy BBQ which specializes in Northern Thai food. She ended up ordering egg noodles in curry sauce with chicken and fried ground pork salad with an ice tea.
