Make a roadside stop almost anywhere along the coastline from Boston to Maine and you're bound to find oysters on the menu, freshly shucked on the half shell or fried in a roll with tartar sauce. Eat them raw, with classic cocktail sauce or an interesting mignonette, or have them grilled, fried, baked, or sandwiched. In honor of National Oyster Day, here's a gallery of L.A.'s freshest finds.
