Did you know most people in the world eats insects? It hasn't caught on in the United States yet, but with the plethora of restaurants in Los Angeles, we can find them if we know where to look.

And why should we be eating bugs? Well, only because it will save the world.

KCET Food editor Katherine Spiers tried the grasshopper (or chapuline) offerings at Monte Alban in the West L.A./Westwood area.
