Bolthouse Farms is sponsoring a series of easy, delicious recipes by me for KCET Food! Using the Bakersfield-based company's carrot and tropical fruit juice blend, I created a really tasty, very satisfying and quite nutritious smoothie.

Carrot And Tropical Fruit Smoothie
Serves one. Increase the recipe as much as you like, but use twice as much juice as coconut milk for the best taste.

1 cup Bolthouse Farms Tropical + Carrot
1/2 cup coconut milk
A mix of frozen bananas, frozen strawberries, and frozen pineapples -- no more than 1 1/2 cups total
Spoonful of chia seeds.

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend to the desired consistency. Enjoy!
