Dog owners were thrown a bone Tuesday evening as the Santa Monica City Council voted 6 to 1 to establish a pilot program for a dog park on Santa Monica State Beach.
Public Health:
More than half of the adult population is overweight or obese in Los Angeles County. Statistics show that low-income areas in Los Angeles are at higher risk for preventable diseases linked to obesity, including, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and even cancer.
Public Health:
"They not only grade you once, but repeatedly visit you on your truck while we're at our peak hours. We've got to constantly be under some sort of inspection."
