The L.A. County Holiday Celebration has been a cherished cultural event in Southern California for more than five decades, honoring the spirit of many cultures and holiday traditions through music, song and dance. This year's 53rd Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration features more than 20 artists from across L.A. County performing live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Downtown Los Angeles on Christmas Eve including acts such as jazz, gospel, handbells, mariachi, ballet and South Indian dance. (See the full program for this year's celebration here.) The free three-hour cultural extravaganza attracts no less than 5,000 Angelenos each year, offering choirs, music ensembles and dance companies from the diverse neighborhoods and cultures of Los Angeles. The 53rd Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration will air live on KCET Dec. 24 at 3 p.m. and repeat at 8 p.m. The show will also be streamed live on kcet.org.
