Dame Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer reprise their famous roles as Jean and Lionel Pargetter in this two-part special, which picks up some time after the original series left off to reveal Jean's great anticipation for grandchildren, much to the dismay of Lionel. With son-in-law Alistair and daughter Judy experiencing difficulty conceiving, Lionel is put in an awkward position when he has to convince Alistair to visit a fertility doctor.
