Birgitte's ex-husband, former professor at Copenhagen Business School. The couple starts dating soon after Phillip divorces Birgitte. Their relationship seems to be en route to marriage until Laura's mental health breakdown. This causes Phillip to pull away and spend more time with Birgitte and his family, thereby second-guessing his decision to give up on his marriage.
Prime Minister, Moderate Party Leader. After a few awkward encounters, she develops a healthy relationship with Birgitte. However, she eventually grows to resent her when she notices that Phillip is drifting away from her after spending increased time with Birgitte and the kids.
