When three women are rescued from years of captivity after being forced into prostitution, it opens a discussion on the need for a law prohibiting the sex trade in Denmark. Brigitte's views on the issue are put to the test when she discovers that her boyfriend Jeremy has paid for sex in the past. Although she initially wants to tighten prostitution laws in order to save the women hurt by the industry, she later realizes it's not her responsibility to save people who don't want, and may not necessarily need, saving.
