We Are Half of Iran's Population

Sorry, there are no airings at this time. Please check this page for future updates.

Made a mere three months before the contentious June 2009 presidential elections in Iran, this documentary provides an extraordinarily intimate and timely look at the country. Bani-Etemad filmed a diverse coalition of women's rights activists discussing their opinions on pressing contemporary issues, then had three of the four presidential candidates view the footage (Mahmoud Ahmedinejad declined her invitation), which includes women demanding that Iran ratify the United Nation's 1979 Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

The program is hosted by Parisa Soultani as part of the Bridge To Iran series, a co-production of CEM Productions and KCETLink. For more information visit www.bridgetoiran.org.

We just missed tonight's "We are half of Iran's population" documentary and my wife and I wanted to catch the next playing time. But the repeat times are at midnight and 4 am which we are not able to watch. Would you please show the show one more time at a more reasonable time. It would really be appreciated. Thank You.
PS. we do not have dvr to recorded.
