Ayed Morrar has taken on a very important role as a peacemaker within the Palestinian community, involving members of Fatah and Hamas, as well as Israelis, in a peaceful struggle against the destruction of his village, Budrus, by the Israeli Separation Barrier. 1.2 square kilometers and 3,000 olive trees will be lost, and along with them a significant source of income. A solution would appear to be a long way off, until Morrar's 15-year-old daughter Iltezam sets up a women's movement that quickly takes up a position on the frontlines.
