Huell goes in search of the history of one of the most iconic symbols in the world. The gleaming gold statuette that is handed out each year at the Oscars has become the pinnacle of Hollywood success. The sculptor George Stanley was handed a napkin with a rough drawing and given the job of creating the "Oscar". Another iconic Stanley statue is the "Muse", which graces the entrance of the world famous Hollywood Bowl. Huell pays tribute to this artist whose work is such an important part of our states history.

Huell,
Your legacy is in chronicling the rich history of California, yes? Well, there is an amazing 95 year old woman YOU NEED TO MEET who embodies the Golden age of Palm Springs' glamour years. Her name is Lubica Brandi (but everyone knows her as "Brandi"), she is sharp as a tack, still gorgeous, witty and packed with charm, humor and MEMORIES galore. Food is what has kept her young--she ran Zorba's for the years that Sinatra, Crosby, Hope & many others ate there- and today (at 95!), she is still making culinary masterpieces and delivering them (in her little red sports car!) to many folks around the desert.
Contact me or her directly--she'd love to meet you, but watch out: you will fall in love (and so will your viewers)!

Grab this treasure, Huell, before she starts to age--she shows NO sign of it yet!
