Barbara Stanwyck, Van Heflin, Lizabeth Scott and a young Kirk Douglas star in the 1946 film, "The Strange Love of Martha Ivers." When Martha is caught trying to run away, a series of events unfold that lead to the death of her aunt, by her own hands. Years later, the events of that night come back to haunt both her and her husband, when her childhood sweetheart stops by the town. The characters find themselves caught in a web of lies, love, murder, and guilt.
