During the tumultuous postwar period, as Italy moves out of the grip of the Fascist regime to the Christian Democrat electoral victory in 1948, Detective De Luca investigates and solves crimes in Bologna and along the Adriatic coast. His brutal honesty and his solitary, uncompromising character may help him solve cases, but combined with his love of women, they also conspire to get him in trouble on more than one occasion. Directed by Antonio Frazzi, 2008. In Italian with English subtitles.
