When Hoo Doo discovers his treasury is empty, it's the Good Hat fault, of course, for not paying their taxes. Then Weenie the Genie accidentally conjures up a magic beanstalk and it appears to be Mark's way home. But Hoo Doo spots Mark climbing the beanstalk, and swooping in, kidnaps Mark and holds him for ransom. The diabolical Hoo Doo then gets the idea that Mark's family might pay more for him than the Good Hats, so Hoo Doo casts a spell to become Mark's double and starts to climb the beanstalk himself. Now Mark must somehow escape and foil Hoo Doo's sinister plans.
