Pacific Palisades painter Leonore Rae Smith is easing the grief of families who have lost a son or daughter in Iraq with nothing else but art. Smith paints portraits - free of charge - of those who had died while fighting in Iraq. Val Zavala interviews the 89-year-old artist and discovers the inspiration behind her work.
