Known as the capital of country music, Nashville also is home to some of the world's top singer-songwriters and rock and pop bands. Host Jacob Edgar receives a personal tour of Nashville's iconic Grand Ole Opry by country superstar Vince Gill. Then, he sees Elizabeth Miller perform at a funky bar in East Nashville, the bohemian district home to many of the city's musicians. He checks out Music Row, the epicenter of Nashville's music business, to visit Compass Records and then tour Gruhn Guitars, which supplies vintage gear to the world's top musicians. He hears virtuoso banjo player Alison Brown demonstrate her musical talents and then visits the legendary Bluebird Cafe, where Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift started their careers. Then, he stops in at the home of Jamie Johnson from the bluegrass band The Grascals for a moving performance of their hit song "I Am Strong". And finally, local songwriters Gabe Dixon and Casey Wasner, contemporary blues singer Keb Mo' and indie rock band Those Darlins prove there is much more to the Nashville scene then country music.
