Mo, Tiny Tina Ten Toes, and Oogleberry Ink Dog decide they want to learn to play instruments, while Mr. D wants to become a singer. Courtney helps each of them to get started and teaches them the value of practice. Mr. D ignores the need for practice but relents and at the end of the day they all perform a little song together. Courtney shares a story about Danny Doolittle, who joins the football team, but disappoints his team when he doesn't practice. Oogleberry finds that practice pays off and getting better at something is a great feeling.
