The Outsider examines the state of India’s justice system which is plagued by long delays and a shortage of judges. With one murder trial in its 37th year, is India’s justice system in need of major reform? Speaking in favour of the motion: India's justice system is failing are Dushyant Dave, a senior lawyer at the Supreme Court in Delhi, and M.N. Singh, a former Commissioner of Police in Mumbai. Opposing the motion are India’s Law and Justice Minister, Salman Kurshid, and KTS Tulsi, President of the Criminal Justice Society of India.
