SEASONS OF MY HEART: A CULINARY JOURNEY THROUGH OAXACA, MEXICO is a series devoted to exploring the cuisine and culture of Oaxaca, Mexico. In each half-hour episode, Chef Susana Trilling begins in Oaxaca, then travels to a variety of scenic locations to experience the local culture and to demonstrate the importance of specific foods to the Oaxacan people, both now and in pre-Hispanic times. After Chef Trilling learns about the traditional method of preparation of each dish, she returns to her studio kitchen to prepare selected recipes using ingredients and tools readily available in the United States. Rich in culture, history and local color, SEASONS OF MY HEART is a visually lush cooking series sure to please devotees of food and anthropology alike.
