Glass LAX, Offshore Causeways, and Citywide Parks: the L.A. That Never Was
Imagine a monorail snaking its way through the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Or maybe a ring of gorgeous parks circling the city. Or how about futuristic designs for the airport? Some of the most unique ideas for our city didn't pass the drawing board.
This summer, however, many of them will go on display as part of an exhibit called "Never Built: Los Angeles". Curators Sam Lubell and Greg Goldin give Val and Madeleine a preview of the exhibition, which will run from July 28 to October 13 at the Architecture and Design Museum of Los Angeles.
