Families moving from one hotel to another. Children sleeping on the floor, with no place to study and no place to eat, using parking lots as their playgrounds. In this special half-hour report, correspondent Yvette Cabrera brings you a story of these "motel kids," and it's one that you may never forget.
A very special thanks to the Illumination Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club of Tustin and Project Dignity for their help in pulling the pieces together for this story.

I was very happy with the way Angela presented this piece. Its was warm and real. Very heartfelt editing. I think that this was a better depiction of the motels of OC than the HBO documentary. I was in these motels for 8 years volunteering, and things are so much better than they used to be. Help is still needed. Thanks for doing shows like this, to help make the world a better place, by inspiring others to step up. I have gotten many many phone call and emails that were really positive about the show. KEEP them coming please!!!!
