We've been waiting for two years for election day, and as anxious and nerve-wracking and all-consuming as it's been — as much as we want it to get there — well, then what? Patt Morrison wonders, "What happens on November 5??"

On your recent climate radio feature:
I found the guest's comments valid, but short on the total scene we can as non-scientist witness about climate change, AKA "warming". I refer to thermal domes created by increased population and industrial heat output. The creation of these domes do, without question, alter the traditional wind pathways, and thus alter the weather systems upon which our day to day newscaster weather gurus issue model forecasts.
At Mammoth lakes ski area 50 years ago we became aware of the climate heat build up on the valley of the west slopes of the Sierras. The entire snow pack was affected and the snow became warmer, heavier and often sparse. All by the thermal dome affect in the direction of SF.
While living in SLC during the mid to late 90's, I witnessed the traditional "lake effect" of the GSL changing the weather in the UINTA Valley, SLC, when 5,000 homes were built over a 6 year period. Each home added a carbon, 'heat' signature to the storm flow pathway changing the snow fall profiles at Alta and other nearby ski resorts.
Why didn't your experts discuss this man made phenomena?

Mike Hamilton says :
I was listening to your afternoon show today (Friday) and during a comedy segment you were evaluating comments made by politicians this week. You mentioned Joe Biden's talk where he said Obama would be tested soon after becoming president. Like you, I felt it wasn't the best subject to bring up so close to the election, but to be fair to Biden you didn't play everything he said. Isn't it true that Joe also said that Obama has a spine of steel, suggesting he would be ready for the test he mentioned?
Would you say you told the whole story, or would you say you were cherry picking for laughs? I know which one Sarah Palin did but I'm unsure about Public Radio.
