State of the State: Gov. Jerry Brown

NOTE: In case you missed it, you can watch a replay of the Governor's address at The California Channel.

Gov. Edmund G. "Jerry" Brown Jr. will deliver his second State of the State address beginning at 10 a.m. You can watch the live stream here courtesy of The California Channel.

Brown has declined to preview his speech in any way to the media, but as the Sacramento Bee reports, his message doesn't end in the capitol. He'll be heading down here to Southern California for the next few days, likely to raise support for some of his major policy agendas. These include a pitch to voters to increase taxes and two major public infrastructure projects: high-speed rail and some means of transporting water through or around the Delta.

Brown will head out immediately after his address and plans to speak at Los Angeles City Hall at 2 p.m. today. The rest of his trip agenda includes Burbank, Irvine and San Diego.
