Thomas says :
Marcos Villatoro's editorial on H1N1 was uneducated, uninformed and inappropriate. When you are offering the public information about whether to have themselves or their children vaccinated it's best to get someone with at least SOME knowledge of medicine or health, not some fiction/poetry writer. I personally know enough about the flu vaccines to know that they are not right for anyone in my family regardless of their age, occupation or lifestyle habits. I do however agree with him on one point, [who knows] what disease THEY'll throw at us next year.
On a different subject, I would like to see a show on what happens to our recyclables once they are picked up from our curb. I often wonder exactly what items are useful to the recycle facilities and what items just slow down their operation. I'm certain that many other people wonder as well.
Thanks for listening and keep up the good work.
your fan,
Thomas
