Tomorrow oral arguments will be heard at the Court of Appeals in the case involving the City of Los Angeles and Summit Media. Summit Media is an outdoor advertising firm that is challenging a 2006 law passed by the Los Angeles City Council that allowed CBS Outdoor and Clear Channel to convert standard billboards into digital signs.
The case could end up opening the door to other firms to put up digital billboards in the city, or it could mean CBS and Clear Channel would have to remove their digital signs.
