Since 2008, Stephanie Bettman's voice and ace fiddle work have been combining beautifully with the string stylings of Luke Halpin to create a sound that combines folk, roots, bluegrass and jazz for a transcendent effect. This documentary profiles the SoCal duo's tour in promotion of their 2010 album, "It All Comes Back to Love." It blends musical performance with revealing conversations with the artists about their music and the vulnerability of putting one's heart and soul into a song, performing it on stage and essentially sharing yourself with the world.

Bettman & Halpin's music is gaining momentum here in the Southland and throughout much of the United States. Upcoming performances include McCabe's in Santa Monica (April 14 at 7 p.m.) and Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo (April 11 at 8 p.m.),
among others. Tickets for both performances will be given away during the KCET pledge drive. They also have performed from Alaska to New York and received rave reviews across the geographic spectrum.
