This week, Huell takes to the sea caves at Santa Cruz Island, shares the wisdom of green chile aficionados and hikes to the top of Mt. Wilson!

Tuesday - July 5, 7:30pm: Sea Caves
Huell travels to Santa Cruz Island to explore its famous sea caves by kayak, and spends a day paddling into the dark and narrow sea caves. Watch the video below for a sneak peek at this episode!

Wednesday - July 6, 7:30pm: Big Fresno Fair
Huell visits the Big Fresno Fair and it really is a "big" fair, with over 165 acres of and 127 years in the making. Huell learns that the fairgrounds were once used as a Japanese internment camp and meets the great grand daughter of Pop Laval who shothundreds of photos of the early fairs. Thursday - July 7, 7:30pm: Green Chiles
Huell meets up with green chile aficionados at an annual event where hundreds of people line up for fresh, roasted New Mexico green chiles.

Friday - July 8, 7:30pm: Crossroads
Huell visits the iconic Crossroads of the World on Sunset Blvd. With it's beautiful globe topped tower, Crossroads was designed originally as an international shopping center, and was Los Angeles' first outdoor shopping mall. Now used as office space, this is one Los Angeles gem that is still alive and well. As a bonus, Huell spends the last ten minutes of the show learning about the history of the "landscaped" billboards on Wilshire Blvd. Actress Thesy Surface of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia takes a short stroll through the Crossroads. Saturday - July 8, 7:00pm: Mt. Wilson
Founded in December 1904 by George Ellery Hale, Mount Wilson Observatory would quickly rise to dominate astronomy worldwide. The Observatory hosts several of the most technologically advanced facilities in the world and is home to the 100-inch Hooker telescope. In this one-hour special, Huell spends the day at this magnificent location that is not only historic, but plays an important role in California's scientific research.

Sunday - July 9, 7:00pm: Ferndale
Join Huell and step back in time as he takes a Road Trip to Ferndale - an entire town that officially holds the distinction of being California Historic Landmark #883!

Among the many stops Huell sees some of the beautiful Victorian architecture, gets some refreshment at the westernmost bar in the continental USA, visits a historic pharmacy, a Gingerbread Mansion and meets all the wonderful people who live in the community. After the Road Trip is over stay tuned for a bonus visit to Clendenen's Cider Works in Fortuna - home to some of the best fresh squeezed apple cider in the state!
