In 2014 United States and NATO troops are scheduled to withdraw from Afghanistan, returning the country to Afghan control for the first time in over ten years. In that time period domestic and international organizations have sought to foster stability and development. Hassina Sherjan, founder of Aid Afghanistan for Education, speaks on the challenges organizations such as hers face to improve life of ordinary Afghans. Hon. Ronald Neumann, president of the American Academy of Diplomacy and former United States Ambassador to Afghanistan, serves as discussant.
