Often, the process of caregiving goes on longer than anticipated and becomes more demanding as the patient deteriorates. Author Gail Sheehy shines a warm light on the very difficult "end of life" conversation between caregiver and the loved one. Ms. Sheehy says that as the end approaches, knowing when it's time to begin the letting go process is easier if there's open and honest communication. Here she shares with "Your Turn to Care" the tender moment she had with her husband.
