Phyllis Karp had always led an active life. But in her early 70's she lost her job, gave up driving and spent most of her time alone and depressed. Like millions of Americans, Phyllis had little savings for retirement and assumed her future was bleak. When her family discovered how badly she was doing, they found the solution to their loved ones' troubles began with asking for help and finding assisted living.
