Veteran character actor Robert David Hall is best known for his role as the quirky coroner "Dr. Albert Robbins" on the award winning television drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In addition to a career in television, the actor's work in film includes roles in The Negotiator opposite Kevin Spacey and Samuel L. Jackson, and Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers. Hall is also an accomplished singer and musician. His work as a voice-over artist is featured in hundreds of commercials, animated series and narrations.
In 1978 Hall was severely injured when an 18-wheel truck crushed his vehicle on a California highway. The accident left him badly burned and without the use of his legs which needed to be amputated to save his life. Today he walks comfortably with two prosthetic limbs and advocates tirelessly for the hiring of disabled actors in the film, television and advertising industries.
Robert David Hall is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and lives in Southern California with his wife Judy. He is the proud father of an adult son, Andrew Hall.
